Roberto Múkaro Agueibaná Borrero (he/him) is an internationally known human rights defender, cultural consultant, strategic adviser, and an accomplished writer, artist, and musician. He is the sanctioned kasike (chief) of the Guainía Taíno of Borikén and a tribal citizen of the Guainía Taíno Tribe the Virgin Islands. Borrero is the president of The United Confederation of Taíno People (UCTP) and leads the Kasibahagua Taino Cultural Society which aims to preserve taino dance and music. He holds an honorary Doctorate Degree, Philosophy in Humanities, from Kayiwa International University, Kampala, Uganda. As a cultural ambassador he conducts educational programs locally and abroad.
